I have a bad credit history and was wondering if there is a way to start fresh with a new social security.?

I have been in bad debt and my credit history is really bad by now. I was wondering if there was any chance for me to make it all better by getting a new social security. Is this possible?

    Highly unlikely.

You’ll need to follow the same methods that the rest of the population would to fix their credit. Here is an excellent, free guide to help you out:

    Good luck!

    No.

A few years ago, there were some companies marketing this idea. There was one minor detail they forgot. It is illegal.

A bad credit score used to make it impossible for individuals and families to borrow money for home and car financing. Today, there are several companies which not only give individuals with bad credit unsecured loans but actually cater to people who have extremely low credit scores.

If you are interested in an unsecured loan there are a number of issues to explore before applying. The first and most important step is knowing how bad your credit score is. The easiest way to get your credit score is to go to a credit agency. However, there are banks and mortgage companies which offer their customers a free yearly credit report – all you have to do is ask.

That’s not possible. You can do bankruptcy to get rid of the debt. But you won’t be able to get a loan for a while. Then when you can it will be high interest. But you might be ahead to do that.

    Uh, no
You earned your bad reputation, now you have to be an adult and clean it up
Getting a new social security number so you can start this cycle of borrowing and perhaps screwing up again is a form of fraud.

Only if you have either been the victim of massive Identity theft or your in the Federal witness protection program.

Those are the only time people can actually get a new Social Security number.

No, but if you like to find out more.

Only if you come back as a human in your next life, then you’ll get a new number.
Until then start working on the debt and trying to rebuild some credit. It will take some years but use cash or debit from now on…pay off as much as you can….stay away from illegal promises.
